As part of our preparation for Easter this year we are holding a weekly class ‘Through Lent with the Church Fathers’ on Mondays at 7.30pm. The next class is tomorrow, Monday 19th March. All Welcome.
There will be a regular Holy Hour on Tuesday mornings from 10.15 – 11.15am during school terms.
Next Sunday, 25th March, is Palm Sunday. Please note that the morning mass on Palm Sunday will begin at 8.30am with the blessing of the Palms.
There will be a special collection next Sunday for the Archdiocesan Day of the Unborn Appeal. Thank you for your generosity.
Thank you to the Youth Group (and helpers) for last week’s car wash. We raised $335 for Project Compassion. Well done!
In your prayers this Lent please remember George and Taylah who will be baptised this Easter, and James and Carol who will be received into full communion with the Catholic Church.
The award winning Fraternity CD Requiem is available for purchase for from the Lighthouse stall in the meeting room.
Please remember the sick in your prayers, especially Evelyn Deane-Freeman, Anne Russell, Germaine Mierhik Vincenza Martucci (Ines Barson’s mother), Margaret Roberts and Trevor Dawes. Please remember also the recently deceased and also those whose anniversaries occur about this time
Just a reminder that all children need to be accompanied to and from the toilet, ideally by an adult family member. Please be careful of small children when exiting the car park after mass and a reminder to all parents to watch their children after mass. It would be appreciated if you could park at the back of the car park near the creek first and avoid parking in the numbered spaces in front of Ellengowan Hall. There is more car parking available in St Peter’s Street (across Payneham Rd), and also across the creek (off Nelson St). Thank you for your understanding.
